HOWARD’S CREEKThe Lincoln Tribune was down at Howard’s Creek again this past weekend for the Millennium Wrestling Federation's latest throw down. The MWF has been bringing smiles to wrestling fan's faces for almost seven years now and this weekend was no different.
The Main Event brought us an epic battle for the Tag Team Championship between The "Alley Rat" Pitt and The "Pacific Tsunami" Nave vs. The Space Cowboys, Chris Solar and The "Outlaw" Keith Matthews. Current champions, The Space Cowboys, are part of The Empire and not afraid to fight dirty. They used a tactical combination of low blows and distracting the referee to get ahead of the other team, not to mention using weapons. When Pitt finally entered the ring for some payback he used a set of brass knuckles (dropped by the Cowboys) to catch the win, but upon examination, the referee found the weapon and disqualified him securing the titles to the current champions.
The Semi Main Event was none other than fan favorite Mr. Madd against The Sycho Supastar for the North American Championship. Tre Williams escorted out Mr. Madd and announced that they were preparing to strike The Empire hard by taking the belt from them. Commissioner Tim Longbottom responded that there was no way the belt was going to change hands. The match was an all out war between the two wrestlers. Mr. Madd got in a couple of brutal moves against Sycho but in the end Sycho overpowered Mr. Madd by picking him up and slamming him down in a powerful drop that resulted in a three count for Sycho and making sure that the belt remained with him.
