LINCOLNTON – Sheriff Daugherty is backing a new website developed by the Institute For Behavior and Health for the fight against Drugged Driving.
The website is www.StopDruggedDriving.org and will be a new tool that will be a great resource against Drunk and Drugged Driving. The website was launched last month to coincide with National Drunk and Drugged Driving Awareness Month.
Officials say that with the launch of the new website there now is a resource available for members from diverse communities of educators, parents, law enforcement officers, law makers, students and the media to learn about the growing threat of drugged drivers, including concrete suggestions of stops to be taken to combat this problem.
