DENVER, NC - Willow Creek Bluegrass band won the First Place Band award on Thanksgiving night at the 52nd Annual Lake Norman Fiddler’s Convention.
The convention was held at Cross Country Campground in Denver NC. Willow Creek also took home several additional awards including First Place Vocal, First Place Guitar, First Place Banjo, and Second Place Bass.
The members of the group are Dennis Ray Long of Vale, NC; Allen Biggerstaff of Vale, NC; Darrence Lovejoy of Bessemer City, NC; Michael Wright of Lincolnton.
Willow Creek has been performing at various locations around Catawba, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Forsyth, Alexander and surrounding counties since their first appearance in 2006.
