LINCOLNTON – A FedEx delivery man was stabbed Wednesday morning after making a delivery at a convenience store on Flint Street.

The delivery driver was stabbed several times but authorities believe he will make a full recovery from his injuries and was taken to CMC-Lincolnton via Lincoln County EMS ambulance.

The event sparked a manhunt for the suspect who was only described as a black male. Authorities called in K-9 units to assist in their search.

Police are still investigating the incident.
