LINCOLNTON The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is investigating three possibly related burglaries occurring on November 19, 2009 between 7:00 am and 11:54 am.
The first incident involved unknown persons entering a residence located at 5387 Stone Henge Drive while no one was home. The culprits forced the kitchen door open and ransacked the residence. Items stolen from the home include a 14K gold/diamond wedding band set, a platinum diamond bracelet, cash, numerous bracelets, earrings, and watches; a shower curtain, a silver Verizon/Motorola cell phone, a Play Station II and wireless controller, ten PlayStation games, four Chipper Jones baseball cards, a pair of size 9.5 blue/white high top Nike tennis shoes, a pair of 30W-30L blue jeans, a black/silver Tipman paintball gun, a black/silver Nano Ipod w/white cover & earphones, white Century fire safe, a wine bottle candle, and a palm tree lamp.
The unknown subject(s) are suspected of then going to a close residence at 5907 King Wilkinson Road while no one was home. They entered the residence through a basement door and also ransacked this residence. The unknown culprit(s) removed a blue steel Charter Arms 38 caliber pistol, a Winchester 270 caliber bolt action rifle w/black stock, a 3X9X40 Burris Rifle scope, a white gold necklace with smoky quartz center, a white gold necklace with ½ K Diamonds and a blue stone on each side, a set of yellow gold opal stone earrings, two pearl necklaces and a pair of pearl earrings, and other assorted jewelry.
The subject(s) are believed to have left that location and went to another nearby residence located at 2351 Dan Reel Road. The culprit(s) removed the screen off the kitchen window and broke out the glass which set off the alarm system. No entry was gained at this residence and nothing was reported taken. A witness observed what appeared to be (2) white males flee the scene after hearing the alarm go off, in a greenish/silver older model Pontiac possibly a Firebird. Detective Kelly Paris is investigating the case.
