Fire / Police : Two Motorcyclists Collide with Car in Lincolnton

LINCOLNTON
– Two motorcyclists ran into the side of a car in front of the Raceway service station on East Main Street in Lincolnton around 9:15 p.m. on Thursday night.

Eyewitnesses reported hearing motorcycles just minutes before traveling at a high rate of speed prior on Highway 150 coming into Lincolnton.

Boger City Volunteer Fire Department responded along with other fire stations, the Lincolnton Police, Lincoln EMS and the North Carolina Highway Patrol.

A car was pulling out of Raceway and two motorcycles hit the car, a third motorcycle made it by without hitting the car.

A helicopter from MedCenter Air was called on but was unable to fly due to weather conditions.

Three people were reportedly taken to area hospitals.
