CHARLOTTE – FSB Legal Counsel, a Fisher Broyles LLP, a leading national law firm, is pleased to announce the launch of an office in Charlotte, North Carolina with the addition of partners Gideon Moore and Ashley Tison. The new office means that the firm now has four offices, with offices also in Atlanta, Chicago and Dallas.
Mr. Moore, a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and Duke Law School, launched his practice in New York with Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, LLP. In 2004, Mr. Moore returned to North Carolina where he spent recent years practicing with Cadwalader’s Charlotte office as well as Wishart, Norris, Henninger & Pittman, P.A. “I was impressed by FSB’s innovative approach of delivering sophisticated legal services by using only partner-level attorneys while eliminating costly overhead and inefficiencies, and I’m excited to have the opportunity to continue to grow FSB’s presence in North Carolina,” said Mr. Moore.
Mr. Tison, a former UNC Charlotte varsity basketball player, returned to Charlotte after receiving his law degree from UNC Law School to begin his career with McGuireWoods, LLP. His recent experience includes serving as in-house counsel for Gemini Real Estate Advisors, LLC and serving as outside general counsel for a local developer focusing on real estate turnaround management activities. “FSB provides an ideal platform for any lawyer to continue to build a practice and serve our clients without the hefty price tag they would expect from firms operating under the typical law firm business model,” said Mr. Tison.
“The establishment of the Charlotte office is an important step as we expand our national presence to serve clients ranging from local emerging startups to national financial services institutions in North Carolina and South Carolina,” said Kevin Broyles, Managing Partner of FSB.
