LINCOLNTON - Detective Chuck McGinley is investigating a First Degree Burglary case at 614 Clark DR. in Lincolnton last week.

Two suspects broke in to room 224 at the day’s Inn on Tuesday night of last week while tenants occupied the room.

The two suspects punched their hands through the room windows causing cuts to both suspects’ arms. One suspect was taken to the hospital due to the severity of his injury and later passed away.

The two suspects were identified as David Lee Tinker and Adrian Foster both of Lincolnton.

David Tinker was charged with First-degree burglary and placed in the Lincoln County Jail.
