Fire / Police : Second Arrest Made in July ’08 Home Invasion

DENVER
– Lincoln County Sheriff’s Detective Andrew Alvarado has made a second arrest in a Denver home invasion that happened in April 2008.

John Dalton Perkins, 19, 1841 Beth Haven Church Road, Denver, was arrested Sept. 14 and charged with one felony count of conspiracy; one felony count of robbery with a dangerous weapon and two felony counts of second degree kidnapping. Perkins was taken to the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under bonds totaling $42,000.



Matthew Todd McIntosh, 19, 7536 Forest Oak Drive, Denver, was arrested three days after the incident and charged with felony charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon, first degree burglary, possession of stolen goods, and misdemeanor charges of injury to personal property and kidnapping.

The victims in the case told authorities during the early morning of April 8, 2008, four masked suspects armed with guns entered a residence on Clover Lane.

According to Detective Alvarado, one of the victim’s recognized McIntosh’s voice during the incident despite being on the floor held at gunpoint. Electronics were taken in the incident.

More arrests are expected in the case as the investigation is ongoing.
