LINCOLNTON - As members of the North Carolina Congressional Delegation travel to their home districts over the legislative recess to hear from their constituents, Americans for Prosperity’s Patients First Bus Tour will hit the road, too. The tour will urge grassroots activists to speak out on behalf of patients and against a government takeover.
The bus tour will make a stop in Lincolnton on Tuesday on the Courthouse lawn beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Citizens are urged to call their senators, visit their district offices, and sign the Patients First petition. The petition asks all members of Congress to oppose any legislation that imposes greater government control over health care and results in fewer choices for patients and their families.
