Fire / Police : Car and Golf Cart Collide

LINCOLNTON - What could have been a tragic accident was avoided on Saturday at the Lincolnton Country Club.

A car hit a golf cart but thankfully no one was seriously injured in the accident.

Lincoln EMS, Lincolnton Police and Lincolnton Firefighters responded to the accident.

The accident occurred on Lithia Inn Road and Country Club intersection at the Common Wealth Road entrance.

There was slight damage to the car and major damage to the golf cart for obvious reasons.
