GREENSBORO - The North Lincoln High School DECA Chapter attended the North Carolina Career Development Conference March 4 – 7, 2009 in Greensboro.
Of the 36 students who attended from North Lincoln DECA, 30 were recognized for proficiency which means they received a combined score of above 70%.
The North Lincoln DECA Chapter is currently the 19th largest chapter in the state. The chapter was recognized as a "Rock Star Chapter" for increasing membership by more than 10%. The chapter also received the Gold Level Chapters of Distinction Award for having a challenging program of work.

Seventh Place Retail Marketing – Jeremiah Mosteller
Seventh Place Hospitality Marketing – Sabrina Young and Pat Sykes
Eighth Place Internet Marketing Team – Jeremiah Mosteller and Sarah Dummer
The following students were recognized on stage during the Honors Session for having the highest score in the interview portion of their event:
